Sign in to Supabase, Neon or MongoDB Atlas and we create the connection for you, or enter the connection details yourself. Existing data can be migrated across in one step, for one project or the whole workspace. Because you pay for the storage, own-database plans are cheaper than hosted ones.

Frequently asked questions about Bring Your Own Database
Which databases are supported?
MongoDB (including Atlas), PostgreSQL (including Supabase and Neon), MySQL and ClickHouse.
Does every feature work with my own database?
On MongoDB, every report works except session replay, whose recordings stay with us. On PostgreSQL, MySQL and ClickHouse you get core analytics (traffic, pages, events, geography, devices and retention); funnels, revenue, heatmaps, AI Ask and some other reports currently need MongoDB or hosted storage.
How much does it cost?
Own-database plans are Starter $15/month, Growth $39/month and Scale $149/month, compared with $19, $49 and $199 for hosted storage. The own-database price applies once every project in the workspace uses its own database.
Can I move my existing data?
Yes. "Migrate my data" copies a project’s history into your database before switching, and "Migrate all projects" moves the whole workspace in one job you can resume if it is interrupted.
Can I switch back?
Yes, from the same settings page at any time. Nothing is deleted on either side: events already written to your database stay there, and new events are stored by SingleAnalytics again.
